OVERVIEW
This workshop was designed to allow for interaction between HBV academic experts, industry executives and the analyst/investment community to discuss progress towards HBV cure. The focus was on challenging industry to identify how their programs are answering specific questions related to patient populations, study designs and combinations. The 1st session identified key questions from academia to be answered by the industry panelists. In session 2 the focus was on how and what combinations should be studied and what are the key endpoints for early drug development to show synergy. Finally we explored similar concepts for HDV.
